The surface of each work is constructed from small fragments cut from the upper margins of U.S. dollar banknotes with the remaining portion being reintroduced into circulation through a series of transactions. Receipts documenting these exchanges—detailing the date, location, and cost of items acquired—are affixed to the reverse of the work, providing an empirical record of the process. This methodology exposes the often-overlooked flows of wealth, offering a critical examination of how value is concealed and marginalized within the economic system.
